We may have designed an entire system to support you – but you are still in control. If you aren’t sure how you want things to work yet, that’s OK, you can start with our standard procedures while you decide. When you want to change something, you just tell us and we make it happen.

Starting any business from scratch is time consuming, overwhelming and risky. It means building an entire operational infrastructure with systems for billing, debt collection, governance tracking and compliance obligations from multiple regulators including ASIC, ACCC, ATO, Privacy Commission, Work Safe, Consumer Protection, NDIS Commission, Services Australia and more. Sole traders are businesses by law and are responsible to multiple regulators. The massive task of starting a small business from scratch, even as a sole trader, can be a barrier for many clinicians, preventing you from getting started or becoming too much as your caseload and business grows.  

Haven does everything involved in running your business without you ever having to do, see or think about it.
